Boris Johnson – Boris Johnson failing to the top makes Gordon Brown seem a capable prime minister
SO Boris can be at the helm for Westminster’s catastrophic failure during the Covid-19 pandemic, drag Scotland out of the EU against our will and in doing so hugely damage our economy, affecting hundreds of thousands of people in the process with his downright lies and false promises about the imaginary benefits of Brexit.
He can ignore the democratic wishes of our people, ridicule our MSPs in Parliament, open huge UK Government monstrosities called hubs in our main cities, stamp Union Flags on all our produce, try eradicate the Scottish name from absolutely everything, trample all over our own government and their devolved powers, and is stupid enough to actually believe that if he comes up here, despite he himself telling everyone not to travel unless absolutely essential ( he only resides in a place where infection rates are out of control, after all, and perhaps he asked for advice from Prince Wullie?), and tell us all how lucky we are to be chained to another country’s government with the worst Covid-19 record on earth?

Does he think that by him flying in like some caped crusader, to mumble, dither and bumble his way through some nonsensical drivel that we will realise our mistake in ever thinking we could run our land so much better without him and his Cabinet of trained Orangutans and we would instantly forgive their myriad and monumental mistakes, their running roughshod over our land continuously, them using our land as a nuclear store cupboard, where our children have to sleep, and their constantly draining our huge resources to try keep another country, trillions in debt due to decades of complete and utter incompetence, and we will say let bygones be bygones and we will worship him and his ilk forever more?
He makes Gordon “Bullion” Brown seem like he was a capable Prime Minister and that really takes some doing.
If he had an ounce of integrity he would resign, but this man has failed his way to the top, very much like his chum George Osborne so he just sees this all as a game playing with the little people’s lives.
How ironic is it that he visits our biggest hospital (again inexplicably named after a foreign monarch in a city hugely pro-independence) when he constantly refuses to reward, safeguard or support the NHS staff (remember the recent shameful video of his MPs cheering when they managed to stop the NHS getting a pay increase?) to tell us how much his government has sent us up in funds to help fight Covid-19?
Is there a reason why he never mentions where all these funds are coming from? This scenario for Scotland is a bit like investing £20 in tickets for the lottery and winning a lucky dip.
Talking of old Bullion Brown, can you imagine being a fly on the wall when he comes home for his evening meal? His wife would sit him down, pour him a drink and ask him if he has had a nice day, and did he get up to anything interesting?

To which the reply would be something to the effect of: “By jove I did, I think I have managed to put another huge dent in the prospect of the land of my birth ever being able to benefit from its own huge resource my darling, that’ll show them! Aren’t I a clever boy? As you know darling, I am getting on a bit now and need to start slowing down a bit. What I need is a nice comfy chair where I can take an afternoon nap, and those chairs in the House of Lords must be awfully comfortable as every time we see pictures from there, nearly everyone in there is sound asleep!
“If I have to choose between a better future for the nation of my birth or one of those chairs, then there is only one winner darling. Oh and if it’s potatoes tonight don’t forget to bring the sauce bottle with the Union Flag on it.”
