The West Valley Mavericks Foundation recently chosen its new leadership for 2020-21, declaring that Litchfield Park residents Justin James and John Weber will helm the plank.
Mr. James, 39, will serve as president for the next year. The U.S. Naval Academy graduate located three times in support of Operations Iraqi and Enduring Freedom, and currently serves as refrigerated trucking company Pride Transport’s manager of sales for this western U.S. An avid golfer, Mr. James recently served two terms as the president of the Wigwam Country Club.
Mr. Weber, 42, will function as base vice president. The co-owner in Southwest Equipment Group of Phoenix, Mr. Weber and his family moved to Arizona from Minnesota 20 years back and have predicted the West Valley home because 2005. He’s served the community as a member of the West Valley Mavericks for the previous five decades, most recently about the board of directors as chair of the organization’s Shindig Hangar Party.
Also working on the base board are:
Jeff Byers of Buckeye. He’s currently vice president of commercial banking for National Bank of Arizona and will function as your treasurer.
Cody Conklin of Litchfield Park is the Round Up Food Truck Festival committee seat. He’s the general director of Conklin Rose Co.
Matt Crego of Peoria is your Shindig Committee seat. He’s chief information officer in Spear Education, LLC.
Chad Frank is in his second year on the board. He’s vice president of tactical and electronic alliances in the Better Business Bureau and resides in Litchfield Park.
Bryan Frye is your Maverick Golf Tournament seat and can be a first-time manager. The Surprise resident is a corporate compliance administrator for Southwest Gas Corp.
Eric Hamilton of Goodyear is fresh to the board. He’s the proprietor of Eric Hamilton State Farm Insurance Agency.
Erik Hernandez, of Buckeye is a spouse in H&B Builders of all Goodyear. He’ll function as a seat for another year.
Mike Johnson of Litchfield Park is serving his second year on the board. He’s president of Cutting Edge Curbing, Sand and Rock.
Erik Rasmussen of Goodyear is the Patriot All-America Golf Invitational seat. He’s the senior managing director at SilverRock.
Nathan Reilly of Surprise is fresh to the board because the member engagement seat. He’s the manager of revenue of Topgolf Glendale.
Bruce Wall of Goodyear serving his third term to the base board . He’s a financial advisor with Edward Jones in Litchfield Park.
Serving the last president function will be Jason Khan of Litchfield Park, a spouse in Meese Khan Accounting and Consulting.
The Mavericks is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit whose mission is to aid children and families, assist people in need and enhance the standard of life from West Valley communities. Since its beginning at 2012, the foundation has given over $1 million to over 80 institutions serving West Valley inhabitants.
The foundation raises funds through sponsorships and from hosting a few Important events, such as The Shindig Fly Away Party in Goodyear Airport, Roundup Food Truck and Music Festival in Goodyear Ballpark, and the Maverick Golf Tournament and Patriot All-America, both held in the Wigwam at Litchfield Park.
