She was the loving spouse of the late Joseph C. Mendes. Born in Victoria Peak, Hong Kong, she was the daughter of the late Joseph William and Maria Christina (Ozorio) Lee.
Astrid beloved to be taught, as evidenced by the variety of her careers. She was a trainer in Hong Kong, a stewardess for Pan American Airways, a banker at Bank Newport, and a Realtor throughout her retirement.
