Amazon – Rivian’s Amazon Delivery Vans Have Started Making Deliveries

These vans will be a common sight on our roads soon, since Amazon has ordered 100,000 of them. Series production of the vehicle will only start sometime next year, and we don’t know exactly how many of the 100,000 units Amazon is already making use of, but at this point, it’s probably just a handful. For now, the electrified deliveries have started in Los Angeles, but over the course of the year, an additional 15 cities will see the introduction of the new vehicles. Amazon has also begun developing its buildings to accommodate the new vehicles and provide charging stations for them, both in North America and Europe.
