Tons of people have been trying to grab a PS5 this month after retailers restocked in the past couple of weeks.
And it appears there won’t be much more chance for people to grab a console as many major retailers have dropped everything they have.
It was revealed that PS5 chip manufacturer AMD said that there will be further delays throughout the year until Autumn due to shortages.
AMD CEO Lisa Su said : “I think we’re getting great support from our manufacturing partners. The industry does need to increase the overall capacity levels and so we do see some tightness through the first half of the year, but there is added capacity in the second half”.
And there could be further bad news for people trying to get a PS5 as it appears rumours suggest stock may not come in until the end of February or the start of March.
One Twitter user @Ps5StockAlert said: “New dates and statuses have been added onto the Argos Warehouse System.
“04/02 – Amber
“22/02 – Green
“08/03 – Green
“22/03 – Green
“Red means failed to receive stock. Amber means either small stock or possibility of failure. Green means successful restock.”
Argos has been keeping restock dates close to its chest but has urged customers to keep an eye out for further restocking of the console.
Meanwhile Smyth’s Toys has also said it won’t be getting anymore stock until February and it appears other retailers could follow suit.
