American Airlines News – Plane makes emergency landing at CNRA

GRAND ISLAND, Neb. (KSNB) – An American Airlines jet made an emergency landing Monday afternoon at the Central Nebraska Regional Airport.

When AA Flight 3500 departed from Garden City, Kansas around 1:15 p.m., the jet’s landing gear wouldn’t come up.

CNRA Executive Director Mike Olson said the crew took the precautionary measure and diverted to CNRA in Grand Island.

The passenger plane was able to land around 2 p.m. without incident.
