A Monroe County man has been charged with stealing $30,000 in present playing cards from his former employer.
State police at Stroudsburg charged Haydn Watkins, 29, of East Stroudsburg, on felony theft and associated fees.
In line with troopers an investigation started on Dec. 12, 2019, into the theft of about $30,000 in present playing cards from the Wyndham Resorts, situated in Smithfield Township. An extra investigation by Troopers Casey Foster and Thomas Gallagher recognized Watkins, a former worker, because the lead suspect. Watkins utilized the corporate’s American Categorical present card system to create the present playing cards for his personal use all through the autumn of 2019. Police mentioned Watkins used the stolen present playing cards to buy two pistols from Dunkelberger’s Sports activities Outfitters in Stroudsburg.
