CA(BA)NATUAN CITY, Nueva Ecija, Philippines — The Nueva Ecija provincial authorities has secured 300,000 doses of vaccine from British pharmaceutical AstraZeneca in a tripartite settlement with the nationwide authorities, the province’s chief government stated.
Gov. Aurelio Umali stated the vaccines can immunize 750,000 residents.
He stated the provincial authorities realigned budgets, such because the allocations for the particular training fund, for the procurement and has been assured of extra funds from the provincial board. He added that he would coordinate the vaccine rollout with Nueva Ecija mayors.
