Bankof America – 20,000 people will get their 2nd COVID-19 vaccine dose at Bank of America Stadium this weekend :: WRAL.com
Charlotte, N.C. — Bank of America Stadium is hosting a COVID-19 vaccine clinic this weekend, the latest in the series of mass vaccination clinics in the Queen City.
This event is exclusively for the roughly 20,000 community members who received their initial dose of the COVID-19 vaccine four weeks ago at the stadium. Those people are now eligible to get their second dose.
The clinic runs Friday through Sunday, from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m., Friday, Feb. 26, and 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday, Feb 27 and Sunday, Feb. 28. Both walk-ups and drive-by patients will be accommodated.

Atrium Health, Honeywell, Tepper Sports & Entertainment and Charlotte Motor Speedway are all partnering to make the clinics happen. They all have a goal to distribute 1 million doses of the vaccine by July 4.
The partnership announced it has collaborated on a playbook detailing the learnings from the mass vaccination events at Bank of America Stadium and Charlotte Motor Speedway in recent weeks. The playbook is designed to help other communities all across the country replicate the successful approaches taken locally.

So far, the clinics have administered roughly 36,000 shots.
