PATERSON, NJ – A 27-year-old Paterson man was arrested Monday after an investigation conducted by the Passaic County Prosecutor’s Office Arson Unit, the Paterson Police Department, and the Paterson Fire Department into a fire at the Bank of America located at 190 Main Street.
According to Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes, Paterson Police Chief Ibrahim Baycora, and Paterson Fire Chief Brian McDermott, an investigation into the April 26 incident revealed that Reshawn Evans set a fire inside a garbage can in a vestibule at that location. The fire did not affect any adjoining structures, and there were no injuries.
