Remember back when Liam Neeson said that he was planning to retire from creating action films? If you’re like us, you’re likely wondering precisely that time, since the dude’s early retirements could wind up with people of Michael Jordan or Dominik Hasek. Butthankfully, Neeson hasn’t quite hit on the stage of his career where he’d be pleased with playing for the god-damned Washington Wizards, therefore he’s still sometimes making an action picture and there. And, frankly, this new one seems fairly silly. It’s named Honest Thief, and it’s about Neeson becoming double-crossed from the FBI after he’s clean following his previous because a bank robber. Massholes enjoy us may wish to be aware the Honest Thief was filmed in Worcester, so we’re supposing that following a long and tough day of kicking ass, Mr. Neeson moved to the Palladium for a few Guinness and a few MWE.
Anyhow, Open Road dropped a trailer for the movie on Thursday, and it looks like a hoot and a half.
Here’s a synopsis:
“They call him In and Out Bandit because meticulous burglar Tom Carter (Liam Neeson) has stolen $9 million by small-town banks while working to maintain his identity a secret. But once he falls in love with all the bubbly Annie (Kate Walsh), Tom decides to make a fresh start by coming clean about his criminal past, just to become double-crossed by two ruthless FBI agents.
In the co-creator of all Emmy-nominated series ‘Ozark,’ thriller ‘Honest Thief’ showcases Liam Neeson at a heartfelt tale of salvation, packed with fights, chases and explosions based on one man’s mission to make things right for the sake of love.”
Honest Thief will hit theatres on October 9, also when there’s 1 person who may frighten corona poorly enough to be certain his film becomes dispersed, it’s Liam Fucking Neeson. Just think, one threatening telephone call, along with the virus will probably likely be shitting its pants.
