The Pogues will likely be again. Netflix has renewed its breakout YA sequence Outer Banks for a second season.
Described as Friday Evening Lights meets Dawson’s Creek meets Ozark, Outer Banks is created and government produced by Jonas Pate, Josh Pate, and Shannon Burke, all of whom will return as showrunners and government producers for Season 2.
The approaching-of-age story follows a tight-knit group of native teenagers (the “Pogues”) within the seashore trip vacation spot of the Outer Banks of North Carolina.
