After about a year on the market, rock god Jon Bon Jovi publically relased the asking price on his elegant New Jersey estate. It’s his life, but it could be your house, and it’s going for $20 million.
According to a report by realtor.com, the stunning French-style home was originally listed with a “price upon asking” tag. Built in 1999 by architect Robert A.M. Stern. It poses an impressive mixture of oppulent accents with rustic living. A gated entrance opens up to the 18,000-square-foot mansion, which sits on a grand 15 acres of land.
Located an hour outside of Manhattan, the property includes breathtaking view of the Navesink River, and according to the listing, the home was built with “exceptional materials, museum-quality craftsmanship, and superb attention to detail.”

Decorated with brick courtyards, slate roofs, parquet flooring, beamed ceilings, tall chimneys and french balconies, this home combines European accents into every inch of the design, while keeping in line with Bon Jovi’s rockstar persona. The 50-foot living room was designed for comfort with a large fireplace and bookshelves, as well as a dining room fit for a party of 18 – and that’s just the start of it.
Amenities range from relaxed entertainment spaces to outdoor activities. No doubt the “Living on a Prayer” singer enjoyed the private movie theater, full-bar pub and pool table, carriage house, double-cabana pool and boat dock. Of course, it wouldn’t be a musician’s home without a loft-style music studio.

If you’re worried that the lead singer of the legendary, grammy-winning rock group Jon Bon Jovi is leaving Jersey behind, never fear. He’s only upgrading, having purchased a new 10,232-square-foot home close by for more than double the asking price of his current NJ mansion, at $43 million. He’s also still busy cooking up jams. Bon Jovi recently released the band’s 15th studio album, 2020, last October.
Gloria Nilson along with Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Fox & Roach Shewsbury holds the listing.
