GKN Aerospace at this time introduced that it has acquired a 2019 Boeing Efficiency Excellence Award, which Boeing points yearly to recognise suppliers who’ve achieved superior efficiency.

The GKN Aerospace websites of Hoogeveen and Papendrecht in The Netherlands maintained a Silver composite efficiency score for every month of the 12-month efficiency interval supporting the Apache and Chinook programmes, from October 2018 to September 2019.
This marks the third consecutive 12 months GKN Aerospace has achieved this degree of efficiency for the Apache program and the second 12 months for the Chinook programme.
Boeing recognised suppliers who achieved both a Gold or Silver degree Boeing Efficiency Excellence Award. GKN Aerospace acquired the Silver degree of recognition for constant efficiency in assembly buyer expectations to stay aggressive within the international economic system. Moreover, GKN Aerospace might be eligible and nominated for Boeing’s Provider of the 12 months award.
