Fintech Zoom – France stocks were lower after the close on Friday, as losses in the , and sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Paris, the lost 0.31%, while the index fell 0.36%.
The best performers of the session on the were Atos SE (PA:), which rose 5.83% or 2.47 points to trade at 44.87 at the close. Meanwhile, STMicroelectronics NV (PA:) added 1.66% or 0.62 points to end at 38.24 and Hermes International SCA (PA:) was up 0.97% or 12.50 points to 1302.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were WFD Unibail Rodamco NV (AS:), which fell 3.80% or 2.62 points to trade at 66.40 at the close. Alstom SA (PA:) declined 2.70% or 0.88 points to end at 31.76 and Vinci SA (PA:) was down 2.30% or 2.07 points to 87.93.
The top performers on the SBF 120 were Atos SE (PA:) which rose 5.83% to 44.87, Eramet SA (PA:) which was up 2.16% to settle at 68.65 and Elior Group (PA:) which gained 2.14% to close at 5.96.
The worst performers were Rubis SCA (PA:) which was down 7.95% to 29.52 in late trade, Valneva (PA:) which lost 5.68% to settle at 19.920 and Klepierre SA (PA:) which was down 3.98% to 19.04 at the close.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Paris Stock Exchange by 360 to 234 and 85 ended unchanged.
Shares in STMicroelectronics NV (PA:) rose to 5-year highs; rising 1.66% or 0.62 to 38.24. Shares in Alstom SA (PA:) fell to 52-week lows; losing 2.70% or 0.88 to 31.76.
The , which measures the implied volatility of CAC 40 options, was unchanged 0% to 18.96 a new 6-months high.
Gold Futures for December delivery was down 0.33% or 5.95 to $1794.05 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in October rose 2.29% or 1.56 to hit $69.70 a barrel, while the November Brent oil contract rose 1.97% or 1.41 to trade at $72.86 a barrel.
EUR/USD was down 0.03% to 1.1821, while EUR/GBP fell 0.09% to 0.8537.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.07% at 92.545.
