Caterpillar – Market Street in Redding back open after crash bicyclist hit by car

The area was closed following a collision involving a bicyclist and a car.

REDDING, Calif. – Parts of Market Street in Redding are closed after an early morning crash involving a bicyclist and a car.
Redding police said the crash happened around 5:30 a.m. Tuesday on southbound N. Market St. at Caterpillar Rd.
Southbound Market Street is closed from Caterpillar Road to Lake Boulevard. Police said it will be closed for most of the morning while the collision is being investigated.
Drivers are asked to take a different route.
