The Utah Department of Health’s COVID-19 report for Monday shows an increase of 859 confirmed cases—bringing the state’s total to 337,264—and two additional deaths.
So far, 1,969,659 people in Utah have been tested for the disease. The state’s rolling seven-day average for the number of positive tests is 1,763 per day, and the seven-day average for the percent of positive tests is 19.2.
A total of 229,575 vaccines have now been administered in Utah.
459 people in Utah are currently hospitalized with COVID-19.
1,597 people in Utah have died of COVID-19. The two deaths announced Monday are:
- Female, between 45-64, Utah County resident, hospitalized at time of death
- Male, between 65-84, Utah County resident, hospitalized at time of death
