The Division of Animal Husbandry and Fisheries, UT, at this time launched ‘Pashu Kisan Credit Card’ (PKCC) for livestock farmers to extend their animal husbandry enterprise.
Whereas launching the scheme, Sanjay Kumar Jha, Secretary, Division of Animal Husbandry and Fisheries, mentioned, “So far, the department has identified 527 livestock farmers for issuance of the Pashu Kisan Credit Cards.”
The PKCC can be utilized for availing a loan of Rs44,018 for a cow and Rs61,467 for a buffalo. The loan will probably be given to livestock proprietor in six installments (Rs7,336 per 30 days) for cow and 7 installments (Rs8,781 per 30 days) for a buffalo by the bank involved.
