The VIP clients of the Maranello firm have already been able to see a preview of the future lightened and powered variant of the Ferrari 812 Superfast. One of these users has decided to filter this preview and show us the first image of the future Ferrari 812 Versione Speciale.

On February 18, Ferrari launched an announcement to its most important customers confirming the launch of a new special variant of the Ferrari 812 Superfast. The date chosen was by no means accidental, since that was the day that marked the 123rd anniversary of the birth of Enzo Ferrari, the brand’s founder.

In a small video recorded from the office of ‘Il Commendatore’, one of the executives of the Italian company, Enrico Galliera, confirmed that the firm was about to launch this lightened and enhanced version of its 12-cylinder Gran Turismo and that the reservation book was now open to the privileged few who had received the video.

Now we find another similar message from the brand to these customers, but this time advancing the model and for the first time with a teaser image. In the same way that the first video was leaked to the network by one of these VIP clients, this first image has also been duly filtered on Instagram by the Instagram user Automobiliardent.

Ferrari 812 Versione Speciale

For now no one knows what this lightened and powered version of the Ferrari 812 is really going to be called. All we know is that Enrico Galliera referred to her as Versione Speciale or Special Version, so that’s the name we use for now.

In the leaked image we can see a heavily modified Ferrari 812 Superfast that has quite a few new features compared to the standard variant of the model. On the hood we find a transverse black element which reminds us of the moldings that the Ferrari F12tdf mounted on the sides of the hood, although the most striking thing is the absence of a rear window, as it is clearly seen that the sheet extends from the roof towards the rear only interrupted by a few gills or air inlets. More than likely we are facing a design inspired by a classic model of the brand, although we have not yet managed to identify it.
