An aggravated theft occurred on the 1000 block of Davis Road at 1:30 a.m. on Monday.
An Evanston man was strolling down Davis when a automobile handed, did a U-turn and stopped close to him. The driving force exited the automotive and approached the person and demanded his valuables, Evanston Police Cmdr. Brian Henry stated. The offender made motions that led the sufferer to consider he had a firearm.
The sufferer turned over his telephone, airpods and pockets, which contained his debit and bank cards, in addition to $120 in cash.
The Evanston Police Division is conducting an ongoing investigation.
An Evanston lady reported her automotive “ransacked” and her purse stolen from her automobile someday between 5:30 p.m. on Friday and seven:30 a.m. on Saturday.
