Aug. 29 — To the Editor:What has occurred to America? The present president is totally incompetent. He’s totally corrupt. Donald Trump is a racist and a bigot and as his niece Mary Trump says, there may be merely nothing redeeming or worthwhile in anyway concerning the man. His malfeasance has resulted in 180,000+ deaths, without end.The Republican conference was a cavalcade of lies. Mike Pence and different shameless poodles took the general public for fools, transparently attempting to someway venture the darkish, darkish world wrought by Trump onto Joe Biden, an honest and succesful chief, and now our hope to avoid wasting this democracy.There have been numerous moments – Trump’s mocking a disabled reporter, calling Nazi marchers “very fantastic folks,” making an attempt s shakedown of Ukraine to undermine an opponent, calling local weather change a Chinese language hoax, suggesting all of us simply drink Lysol to beat the virus, it goes on and on and on – that ought to have introduced his approval to close zero.What does it say about Trump’s supporters, and about our nation, that this president continues to be inside dishonest distance of “profitable” re-election?Michael Behrendt, Durham
