Dow down 100 points on losses in American Express, Goldman Sachs stocks
The Dow Jones Industrial Average is falling Monday afternoon with shares of American Express and Goldman Sachs delivering the stiffest headwinds for the index. Shares of American Express
and Goldman Sachs
are contributing to the blue-chip gauge’s intraday decline, as the Dow
was most recently trading 104 points, or 0.3%, lower. American Express‘s shares are off $5.03, or 4.0%, while those of Goldman Sachs have declined $7.35 (2.5%), combining for an approximately 84-point drag on the Dow. Intel
are also contributing significantly to the decline. A $1 move in any of the Dow’s 30 components results in a 6.78-point swing.
