Facebook – View the ‘Christmas Star’ during Now Hab Facebook Live event
On Monday, December 21, 2020, Jupiter and Saturn will align to form what many refer to as the Christmas Star. The last time the two largest planets in our Solar System appeared this close in the sky was nearly 400 years ago, back in 1623.
The next time this will happen is in 2080!
If you don’t want to wait another 60 years, or can’t, then join Now Habersham for a Facebook Live Christmas Stargazing event hosted by our own Tyler Penland. Take in a telescopic view of the Great Conjunction as it unfolds in the southwestern sky.
The Great Conjunction: Christmas Stargazing begins at 5:45 p.m. (EST) Monday, December 21, 2020. It will continue until the planets become unobservable from our viewing location.
Please share this with your friends and family, join us live, and as always, keep lookin’ up!
