Bahrain’s investment company Investcorp has launched its new fintech investment platform Investcorp iPartners for investors.
Customers can browse, assess and invest in Investcorp’s private equity, real estate and other alternative investment offerings online. The fintech platform has been launched in the United States and the GCC, with further international expansion underway.
“Investcorp iPartners marks a continuation of the firm’s global expansion strategy,” said Hazem Ben-Gacem, co-chief executive officer of Investcorp.
“While we continue to expand our institutional investor base, Investcorp iPartners will solidify the firm’s leading ultra-high-net-worth investor franchise and expand our reach into the sizable, growing and underpenetrated private wealth market globally in partnership with distributor banks. iPartners further enhances our high-touch client servicing approach which continues to be a cornerstone of our business model and corporate culture.”
Investcorp iPartners was developed in collaboration with iCapital Network, the financial technology platform driving access in alternative investing for the asset and wealth management industries.
Lawrence Calcano, chief executive officer and chairman of iCapital Network said: “We are thrilled to be selected to provide the technology to enable Investcorp to provide an efficient and secure platform through which to offer their ultra-high-net-worth investors a broad array of alternative investments including private market direct co-investment opportunities. We look forward to continuing our long-term partnership with Investcorp driven by a shared commitment to delivering smart technology that meets the unique alternative investing demands of a growing global marketplace.”
