Fortnite – Did LazarBeam Quit Fortnite?
Did LazarBeam quit Fortnite? Australian YouTuber Lannan “LazarBeam” Eacott played Fortnite before making an exit of the game on stream, and many of his followers have wondered if he’s truly quit the game.
In a recent stream, LazarBeam placed fifth in a game and rage quit. He then proceeded to uninstall the game on camera.
“I’ve decided to uninstall Fortnite. I’ve quit the game. I’m quitting it right now,” LazarBeam said. “I’m done forever.”
This has lead many of his viewers to wonder if he was joking, if it was done just in a fit of rage or if it was hammed up for the camera. The comments section of his recent non-Fortnite videos have been filled with sentiments expressing sadness over his apparent departure from the game.
One viewer wrote “I’m sad you quit fortnite you were the face of fortnite I was crying when you deleted fortnite [sic]”. Another viewer wrote “I full on cried real tears when I saw him delete fn his dss was my entire childhood [sic].”
LazarBeam has not posted about the incident, so it’s not known if he has re-installed the game. He might come back when a new update drops, or may actually quit the game and move on like Ninja or Nickmercs.
LazarBeam is a content creator first, so it would be strange for him to abandon his bread and butter game of Fortnite that his viewers are so accustomed to. We’ll have to see if he makes a return in a future update.
