Cyberpunk 2077 – 10 Of The Community’s Most Hilarious Custom Characters
Creators took a realistic approach to the customizer, leading to many human-like fan creations. How does Jon Show look in the Demon’s Souls universe?
In the Demon’s Souls character customizer, players are given a chance to create their own characters, which gives them the capabilities to change not only the name, gender, and class, but they can have full freedom to change up their appearance. Many of the Soulsborne fans were pleasantly surprised once Demon’s Souls Remake was released, however, the character customizer wasn’t what most of them were expecting to see.
Taking a realistic approach, creators managed to introduce a human-like character build which many gamers took advantage of and created the most hilarious custom characters. With nearly endless combinations to choose from, players have customized incredible look-alikes and humorous creations.
10 Jon Snow
Deep into character customization, Youtuber Hadrian Reamon created none other than the beloved protagonist from the well-known HBO series Game of Thrones. Played by Kit Harington, Jon Snow obviously stole the heart of millions of GOT fans.
Even though he got unusually lucky on many occasions, because of a lack of understanding of how the world works around him, he could be considered as one of the worst Starks despite his big heart and an unbearable will to prove himself to society. While this custom character isn’t the most hilarious, it is always fun to see worlds collide.
The recreation of the main protagonist of the series, Dante, is the second son of the demon Sparda and the human Eva, which makes him a half-demon.
While this isn’t the most hilarious, it’s a wonderful recreation of the beloved Devil May Cry character that is so accurate that it’s worth an honorable mention. The immaculate detail that the player spent on both the hair and the sorrowful look is impressive, to say the least.
Next up is a character from the God of War franchise, Kratos is most likely to perfectly fit in a world filled with chaos, fire, demons, and uncertainty. Also known as the Ghost of Sparta, his powers made him a slayer of the Gods. His ruthless and destructible character got him where he wanted to be, but it seemed always for a price. It’s hard to miss out on the non-existing frown in character customization, but the resemblance is still obviously there. This video game mashup is exactly what fans of God of War want to see in Demon’s Souls.
7 Geralt of Rivia
This character was created by a YouTube channel Arekkz Gaming, as an immaculate recreation of the fierce monster hunter from The Witcher saga, Geralt of Rivia. This powerful character is brought to life with piercing green eyes and the scar that goes along one side of his face.
The insane attention to detail makes Geralt of Rivia feel like he’s always belonged in the Demon’s Souls universe. While it is a shame Witcher fans won’t be seeing Geralt’s cameo in Cyberpunk 2077 any time soon, it’s always nice to see Geralt come back in some shape or form even if it’s just a character recreation.
6 Keanu Reeves
Youtuber Exalted Madness created an extremely lifelike representation of actor Keanu Reeves as a Demon’s Souls character. What seems to be a slightly sad look on a created character’s face is one of the greatest features that really brings him to life. Most viewers know him for his roles in the John Wick saga, but his appearance in Cyberpunk 2077 is one of the most fantastic cutscenes.
Keanu Reeves is one of the most known actors of all time and despite his great success, somehow, he never misses out on being a humble, polite real-life gentleman. Fans can only imagine how hilarious and epic it must be to play Demon’s Souls with this beloved actor.
5 Kanye West
Either love to hate him or hate to love him, Kanye West is one of the most eccentric music artists and producers of our time. This fantastic recreation of this rapper is created by a YouTube channel named The Truth Hurts and it is proof of how creative Demon’s Souls fans can be. Even though there is still no video of Kanye’s character remake fighting in Demon’s Souls, there is progress in customizing the character from the beginning to the very last facial detail. The idea of Kanye West battling it out in Demon’s Souls is hilarious in so many ways.
Nintendo’s most famous mascot, the iconic Super Mario is now also a playable character in a new remake of Demon’s Souls. One fan took this beloved 8-bit character and reimagined him in flesh and blood. While it’s a bit weird to see him being brought to life, it’s also so bizarre to think that our beloved mustached friend would potentially end up in a dark and gothic world of Demon’s Souls. This hilarious combo that video game fans thought they would never see, has now become something that players will never be able to unsee.
This beloved Pokemon character was also reimagined as a humanoid version as a Demon’s Souls character would be hilarious to spot in the game, so a fellow gamer made sure to bring the audience what they need.
Thanks to one video gamer, Pikachu can walk through The Lord’s Path to the Shrine of the Dragon God in a human-like form. The details, such as the yellow skin and the red circles on the cheeks really bring this to life.
One player really brought this Dreamworks character to life, with the creative use of blush and lipstick, creating a completely new and polished version of a big green guy we all have learned to love. Although Shrek is most likely to never be associated with Demon’s Souls, it’s appreciated to have an idea of what he would look like.
1 Handsome Squidward
This handsome version of Squidward is a moment from a bizarre 2007 SpongeBob Squarepants episode, “The Two Faces of Squidward” that has stuck with fans and become a cultural phenomenon of sorts even 10 plus years after its original release. Now Handsome Squidward gets to be welcomed into the world of Demon’s Souls thanks to one creative player. With his signature high cheekbones, square jaw, lipstick, and bald head shining to the Gods, Handsome Squidward is a great addition to Demon’s Souls’ character creations for those who want to have a good laugh while playing the ordinarily very serious game.
