A man accused of shoplifting at the Home Depot on Airline Drive in Bossier City was arrested yesterday. The suspect was found hiding in a bathroom stall at the nearby Buffalo Wild Wings.
Shortly after 6 p.m. Tuesday, March 30, 2021, BCPD responded to a call of a shoplifter at the Home Depot. Prior to arriving on the scene, officers were notified that the suspect fled into the nearby Buffalo Wild Wings. Accompanied by a Home Depot employee to identify the suspect, officers searched the Bdubs dining room. When the subject was initially not located, officers checked the men’s restroom and located the man hiding in one of the stalls.
The suspect was identified as Harry Alexander Booras, III. Booras, 56, was advised of his rights and admitted to officers that he stole merchandise from Home Depot in hopes of selling it.
A Honda generator, valued at $1,099, was recovered.
Authorities say that Booras was recently banned from returning to Home Depot after previously shoplifting at a Shreveport location. He also has five prior convictions, as well as an active warrant out of Tuscaloosa, Alabama.
Booras was booked into the Bossier City jail for Shoplifting and Criminal Trespassing.
