A new Home Depot will open its doors in Pasadena later this week.
The March 11 opening is described as a soft opening.
A company spokesperson told Pasadena Now that the Pasadena store is the second of six new stores to open in 2021.
“The 113,580 square-foot store will employ between 275 and 300 associates, including just over 200 associates who are new to the company,” according to the statement.
“The store has several features the company is rolling out as part of its multi-year, $11 billion investment to enhance the customer and associate experience. It features an optimized, more flexible checkout and customer service area, specialty showroom, the latest displays and amazing new storage areas for our customers
