Robert C. Honeywell, 75, of Quicks Bend, Wilmot Township, handed away on Saturday, Nov. 28, 2020 on the Guthrie Towanda Memorial Hospital.
Born on May 22, 1945, in Sugar Run, he was the son of the late Cory Okay. and Leona A. Freeman Honeywell.
He married the previous Sharon Kellock of Towanda on March 27, 1965. They celebrated their 46th wedding ceremony anniversary earlier than her passing on July 11, 2011. Robert retired in 1997 after 31 years of service with PennDOT. He later drove truck for John Preston Logging and Johnson Quarries.
He beloved spending time together with his household, particularly his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He additionally loved driving his Harley touring the native countryside.
Surviving are his sons, Les Honeywell and Scott Honeywell, each of Quicks Bend; grandchildren, Brian (Casey) Dietz of Sugar Run, Heather Kolbeck of Terrytown, Cory Honeywell of Corpus Christi, TX and Ben Fish of Wyalusing and quite a few nieces and nephews.
Apart from his dad and mom and spouse, he was predeceased by an toddler son, Kevin Honeywell; grandson-in-law, Chris Kolbeck on Dec. 5, 2018; three brothers, William F. Wolbach in 1982, Marvin “Jake” Wolbach on Aug. 11, 2011, and Freeman E. Honeywell on Nov. 7, 2019 and a sister, Catherine M. Arnold on June 1, 2001.
Funeral providers will likely be held on Friday, Dec. four at 1 p.m. on the Homer Funeral Home, 83 Grovedale Lane, Wyalusing, with Alonzo “Bunky” Levance, Chaplain of Millwood, Inc., officiating. Interment will likely be within the Wyalusing Cemetery, Wyalusing.
A viewing will likely be held from 11 a.m. till the time of the service on Friday.
