For most Americans, celebrating President’s Day just means being grateful for a day off (if you’re lucky enough to get one)—but for Joe Biden, it’s a little more special. And his grandchildren didn’t let him forget it.
In a sweet, tongue-in-cheek gesture, Biden‘s granddaughter Naomi and other members of his family gifted him a couple President-themed costume pieces: a hat emblazoned with the Camp David logo, and a jacket adorned with the presidential seal, “Air Force One” embroidery, and a patch identifying the wearer as “Joe Biden, Commander in Chief.” Naomi shared the photo on Twitter, writing, “We bought him some swag since it’s Presidents’ Day weekend and he’s ‘literally’ President.”
In a second tweet, she shared a photo of the back of the hat, which is embroidered with “Pop”—the name the President goes by with his grandchildren. “And just to make sure the job title doesn’t get to his head…” Naomi wrote.

Naomi also shared a look at the family’s weekend at Camp David on Instagram. In a story, she posted a photo of the President facing off against her in Mario Kart. (Apparently, the retreat is outfitted with a pair of arcade-style Mario Kart games. Makes one wonder what other fun activities the President has at his disposal.)
“Secret Service made an exception and let him drive himself!” she quipped. And for good reason: he came out on top. “A little rusty but he still won (barely),” Naomi wrote.
