Justin Trudeau – Letters Jan. 30: Trudeau can do no wrong in the eyes of his supporters

(Our PM’s new nickname should be ‘Teflon Trudeau’ as nothing sticks to him.)
We all are upset over the pipeline being cancelled, but (President Joe) Biden did campaign on scrapping it. I guess we are so used to politicians’ BS that when one does as they promise, we’re asking them to break their word to the people that elected him. (Prime Minister Justin) Trudeau should call an election so we can see what promises he would renege on, if God forbid he is re-elected
(It was no surprise but disappointing.)
PICK A NEW LEADER
Personally I will not be voting UCP again without a leadership review. If I wanted all my liberties taken away, I would have voted for the socialist NDP. We need another Ralph Klein, not the Gomer Pile we’re presently stuck with.
(We miss Ralph, too.)
EPIC DRAMA FAIL
Justin Trudeau, the former drama instructor, stands in front of the television camera, needing a haircut and shave, smiles and impersonates a prime minister. He has acted in the following: The Aga Kahn drama. The Lavalin drama. The WE drama. The China drama. The Payette drama. The COVID-19 drama. The Keystone XL drama. Why do we not have our vaccine? He is just not that good of an actor. Canada does not need an actor as a prime minister. Canada needs a new leader who can perform now.
(The vaccine failure should finally be his downfall, but probably won’t be because …. well, we don’t actually know why.)
I dare a service station to humour me and post gas at the pump at $ 1.00 a litre instead of 99.9 cents. I know it’s a small thing but I would like to see an even number before I die, so please someone, anyone?
(Are there any local gas station owners willing to make Jens Rieckmann’s day?)
