Re: “Do the lives of looted car and shop owners matter too?” (Letter to the editor, Eastbaytimes.com, June 5):
To reply the letter-writer’s query as as to whether the lives of looted automotive and shop-owners matter, the reply is that the lack of materials objects doesn’t equate to lack of human life.
Moreover, we all know that almost all of protestors, like myself, aren’t looting. There are individuals making the most of police chaos.
Moreover, looting isn’t violence, second-degree homicide is. Automobile insurance coverage will change your automotive, life insurance coverage doesn’t change your life.
To equate Black lives to materials objects is racist and so is his try to erase the expression “Black Lives Matter” and change it together with his model of “justice for all.”
