Robert “Bob” L. Davis, Jr., 77, of Chattanooga, Tennessee, handed away at Erlanger Medical Middle on Thursday, September 10, 2020.
Bob was born in Rossville, Ga., on May 20, 1943. He was a proud Rossville Bulldog, graduating in 1961. He liked his soccer teammates and was part of two championship groups in 1959 and 1960. He graduated from The College of Tennessee at Chattanooga in 1974. Bob loved a 30-year profession at Provident Life & Accident, then began The Davis Firm, a profitable life insurance coverage brokerage operation during the last 23 years. He was a member of Council Hearth Golf Membership and The Honors Course. He additionally had great buddies on the Elks Membership. Bob was president of many civic organizations in Rossville and Chattanooga, such because the Trade Membership and the Traditional 150. One in all his proudest accomplishments was being a founding member of the Rossville Sports activities Corridor of Fame Committee, the place he served as president for a few years. Bob is survived by his spouse of 37 years, Carol, Chattanooga; kids, Robert “Bo” L. Davis III and his spouse Ruth of Southern Pines, N.C., and Beth Davis Stefanko and her husband Mike of Richmond, Va.; 4 grandchildren, Rob Davis (IV), Riley Davis, Logan Stefanko, and Garrett Stefanko.
