ROME, Sept 25 (Reuters) – UniCredit CRDI.MI is able to go away the life insurance coverage partnership it has with British insurer Aviva AV.L, two Italian dailies reported on Friday.
The lender intends to go away Aviva Spa, collectively owned with Aviva and supervisor of a portfolio of some Three billion euros ($3.5 billion) in premiums, each day Il Messaggero reported.
MF, one other Italian each day, mentioned the 2 teams intend to place the portfolio up on the market. It didn’t rule out UniCredit shopping for all of it to “recalibrate the technique”.
UniCredit declined to remark. Aviva was not instantly out there.
