The League of Skilled Theatre Girls is providing its members entry to its emergency mortgage fund as theaters throughout the nation shut resulting from coronavirus.
The League can be allocating its Waldman Emergency Fund, donated by long-time member Honey Waldman, which was established to assist members in emergency conditions. The nonprofit group, created to help gender parity in skilled theater, has greater than 500 members throughout all classes of the trade, in line with its website.
“The mortgage is meant for true emergencies. A committee will assessment requests for loans which can be evaluated on a person foundation. All requests are confidential and all loans are discreet,” the group mentioned in a press launch.
