Super Cars – AMRS ANNOUNCE BROADCAST REVAMP – Auto Action

The Australian Motor Racing Series will feature a revamped broadcast for the remaining rounds of its 2021 season.
Included in this is the addition of long-time commentator Tony Schibeci to anchor and commentate the on-track action. For more than 30-years, Schibeci has been the ground announcer at the MCG, covered multiple Olympic and Commonwealth Games, and the AFL.
In the motorsport realm, Schibeci in recent years has called the action in Porsche Carrera Cup Australia at Supercars events, the Australian Production Car Series and the defunct Australian Formula 4 Series.
Schibeci will be joined by Kylie King, who renews her commitment as pit and feature reporter after being involved with AMRS since its inception in 2018.
Fuzzy Media will produce the event broadcast, joining the successful 7Mate program ‘Rides Down Under Workshop Wars’ within its portfolio.
Founded by Rob Fazzino in 2000, Fuzzy Media has produced content for all major television networks, national and international brands, and Australia’s largest sporting organisations.
This new deal also includes the livestream of Sunday’s action at each AMRS round.
AMRS manager Matt Baragwanath is expecting the new broadcast package to showcase the best of what the series has to offer.
“Tony Schibeci is one of the most well-recognised voices not just in motorsport, but in the wider sporting community,” Baragwanath said.
“Having someone of Tony’s calibre will boost the public image of AMRS, while Kylie will continue to be the face of AMRS, uncovering the personalities up and down pit lane.
“We’re looking forward to working with Rob and the Fuzzy Media team – they have already presented us with some fresh ideas and concepts, which we’re very excited about.”
Winton on June 11-13 will provide the debut for the new broadcast package after Morgan park’s round was postponed.
