Market stock today September 14
Early Friday, the Dow Jones Industrial Average reconvened over 250 points before cutting profits, recovery from the stock market sell-off of Thursday. Tesla revitalized almost 1%, while Dow Jones’s leader Apple switched lower. Peloton took off as much as 11% on gains, while Nikola dived nearly 18%.
IBD leaderboard stocks
Dow Jones stocks MSFT (Microsoft) and AAPL (Apple) were blended in the morning trade. When Reuters revealed that Tesla’s arrangement to export Model 3 vehicles made in China, the Tesla bounced nearly 3%. Tesla, Microsoft, and Apple are IBD leaderboard stocks.
ETSY, DPZ, and NKLA
Etsy (ETSY) and Domino’s Pizza (DPZ) are the stocks on the move Friday. Both stocks were advanced on Friday. Etsy upgraded 2.5%, and Domino’s revitalized 2%. In the meantime, Nikola (NKLA) jumped nearly 18% in the light of the company’s reaction to short-seller fraud charges.
Stocks close to buying zones include software leader Adobe (ADBE). The stock is bouncing back from its 50-days uphold level and is over an ongoing buy point.
PTON and CHWY
Peloton (PTON) and Chewy (CHWY) were blended among companies reporting earnings. Peloton took off nearly 11% before cutting gains, and Chewy (CHWY) fell 6%.
Dow Jones Today
The Standard and Poor 500 climbed 0.4%, while the Dow Jones Industrial Average gained 0.7%. The NASDAQ composite fell 0.1%.
Friday morning, Innovator IBD 50 (FFTY) traded up 0.3% among exchange-traded funds. The NASDAQ 100-linked Invesco QQQ Trust EFT rose 0.1%, and in the meantime, the SPDR Standard and Poor 500 EFT (SPY) climbed 0.4%.
