Microsoft – Microsoft Reno donates over $40Okay to native nonprofits in annual giving drive
RENO, Nev. — Microsoft’s 38th annual Worker Giving Marketing campaign wrapped up in October, leading to greater than $40,000 in funds raised for Northern Nevada nonprofits.
This 12 months’s digital employee-led GIVE Marketing campaign through Microsoft Reno — which included on-line trivia video games, a web based poker match and extra — raised funds for the next nonprofits:
- United Means of Northern Nevada and the Sierra: $2,620
- Northern Nevada Youngsters’s Most cancers Basis: $19,425
- Schooling Alliance of Washoe County: $8,370
- Meals Bank of Northern Nevada: $11,760
The Microsoft Reno crew additionally promoted a blood drive for native blood donations to assist Vitalant of Northern Nevada.

Every year since 1983 in October, Microsoft matches worker donations of money and time to nonprofit organizations.
