(Reuters) –Microsoft Corp is engaged on in-house processors for the servers working its cloud-computing companies and Floor line of private computer systems, probably reducing its reliance on Intel Corp , an individual conversant in the matter instructed Reuters.
The chips would use expertise from Arm Ltd, the individual mentioned, which is within the midst of being acquired by Nvidia Corp for $40 billion.
