Ball Corp. on Monday said it has decided to leave Russia and is pursuing a sale of its Russian business to a new owner.
The company also said it reduced operations at its three manufacturing facilities in that country. Ball said last week it was suspending future investments in Russia.
Ball said Russian operations represented about 4% of its total sales last year. Plants in Russia produced about 5% of its global beverage can unit shipments in 2021, Ball said.
