Paypal – Beginners’ Beekeeper Course – NRVNews
The 2021 Beginner’s Beekeeper Course (BBC) will be held virtually over Zoom this year on the following dates and times:
Session 1: Saturday, February 20th, 2021: ~ 9am – 1pm
Session 2: Saturday, April 10th, 2021: ~ 9am – 1pm + Hands-on
Hands-on instruction at an apiary will be hosted on Saturday, April 10th after the virtual session, assuming that weather and safety allow. More details to come later as we get closer to the event.

- Site Selection, Getting Bees, Tools, Woodenware
- First Hive and Package Install
- Varroa and Options
- Hive Evaluation
- Seasonal Beekeeping

The deadline to register is Saturday, February 13th. The cost for the course is:
To register for the course, please send an email to [email protected] using the subject “BBC.” Please provide your name, email address and phone number. This will place your name on the class roster. It will also establish your place “in line”, should we have to limit enrollments. Enrollments are first come, first served. If you can’t send an email, call Jim Hill at 540-589-3937. The date and time of your call will establish your place in line.
There are two options for payment:
OPTION 1: You can send payment electronically via the club’s PayPal account. The PayPal ID for the club is our email address, [email protected] Please include your name, email address, and phone number as a note on the payment to make sure your information is logged. If you would like us to send you a link that you can click on and pay, send an email to [email protected] and we’ll be happy to!
OPTION 2: For those wishing to mail a check, please send payment to the following address and plan to have your payment arrive no later than February 13th. Include your name, email address, and phone number.
