On Wednesday man received a test message from a person offering to sell him the PlayStation. They reached an agreement and the male sent them a $500 email money transfer as a deposit.
On Thursday the man attended to a residence located near the intersection of Harvard Road and Rickson Avenue in the City of Guelph, as instructed to pick up the PlayStation. Once he realized it was a scam, he contacted the Guelph Police for assistance.
