Playstation 5 – PS5 to drop at John Lewis and Very as Argos and Smyths expected in ‘early’ April
A well-used PS5 stock watcher has predicted that John Lewis and Very will drop ‘soon’ follow a large restock at Amazon UK.
@ps5ukstock3 also revealed that Argos and Smyths will drop in early April as a huge shipment of highly-sought-after consoles continue to arrive at major retailers.
They said: “We had predicted Amazon today (March 30) a while back which is great! We can still expect JL and Very soon. Also Argos or Smyths in early April.”
The last two weeks have seen gamers flood websites after Sony’s PlayStation 5 dropped at GAME and AO.
And if you missed out on any of these PlayStation 5 restocks the good news is you’ll get another opportunity to purchase a PS5 again soon.
The prediction also comes as Smyths Toys has released a statement amid speculation on social media a PS5 restock and stock drop is imminent.
One stock tracker wrote: “Smyths has removed OOS purple banner from both digital & disc PS5 listings. A drop is incoming VERY soon, look out for next few days.”
“Remember when we said Smyths will drop when they remove the purple banner? Well, they’ve removed it! Stay alert in the next 24 – 48 hours for a potential drop!” another wrote.
In response to speculation a restock is coming, Smyths tweeted: “Hi there! Unfortunately, we do not have a waiting list for the PS5. The most up-to-date stock information is available on the product information page, Our Customer Service team does not have additional information on stock.”
