Scott Morrison – Morrison responds to worldwide journey well being issues
Prime Minister Scott Morrison has inspired Australians to vacation at house amid ongoing discussions about worldwide journey, saying home tourism is the “bread and butter” of the nation’s tourism business.
It comes after Former Chief Medical Officer Brendan Murphy mentioned it’s unlikely Australia’s worldwide border will probably be reopened in 2021.
With JobKeeper set to finish in March, the opportunity of a closed worldwide border in 2021 has raised questions on extra stimulus for the tourism business.
“The decisions we’ve taken around international borders, all of it has been based on the information and advice that has come through,” the prime minister mentioned.
“We’ll see how things play out over the course of the year … we won’t be making commitments ahead of any time they would be needed.”
