Stock Market Analysis Today – 52-week high: Stock market update: 29 stocks hit 52-week highs on NSE

Among the stocks that touched their 52-week highs on NSE were: Bajaj Auto, IFB Industries, Apollo Hospitals, Century Plyboards, Gujarat Raffia Industries, Orchid Pharma, TVS Motor Company, Wealth First Portfolio Managers, Raj Oil Mills and Jash Engineering.

Overall, 17 shares were trading in green in Nifty50 index, while 33 were trading in red in the afternoon trade.

In the Nifty 50 index, Wipro, Tech Mahindra, ITC, UltraTech Cement and HDFC Life were among top gainers, while Axis Bank, Tata Motors, Asian Paints, GAIL and HDFC were trading in red.

The BSE Sensex was trading 540.17 points down at 47807.42. Traders were seen piling up position in Aquaculture, Trading, Diversified, IT – Hardware and Beverages – Alcoholic sectors, while selling were visible in Miscellaneous, Building Materials, Construction, Petrochemicals and NBFC sectors.
