AMD Stock – Unusual Options Activity: Call Buyers Bet on AMD

Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) is getting some attention from call buyers Monday. Volume is high and outstripping open interest at a number of strikes, including the Feb. 26 99, where 25,407 contracts have traded so far today against open interest of 387. Today’s volume seems to predominately in the high side of the bid-ask spread, including the large trade of the day, 3,000 contracts that moved at the then-asking price at 12:38 this afternoon.
