Best Stocks to Buy – Zagreb share indices close mixed, Arena Hospitality Group leads blue-chip gainers
ZAGREB (Croatia), May 7 (SeeNews) – The share indices of the Zagreb Stock Exchange (ZSE) closed mixed on Friday, with Arena Hospitality Group [ZSE:ARNT] pacing the blue-chip gainers, bourse data showed.
Arena’s shares added 1.26% to close at 322 kuna, ZSE data showed.
Telecommunication services provider Optima Telekom [ZSE:OPTE] led the blue-chip losers, as its shares closed 2.34% lower at 5.84 kuna.
Four of the ten blue-chip companies closed higher, three ended lower and three closed flat on Friday.
Food, beverages and pharmaceuticals producer Podravka [ZSE:PODR] contributed the largest portion of the ZSE’s share trading turnover among the blue-chip companies on Friday – of 1.3 million kuna.
The bourse’s total trading turnover fell to 9.6 million kuna ($1.5 million/1.3 million euro) on Friday, from 15.2 million kuna on Thursday.
The ZSE’s 25-share benchmark CROBEX index grew by 0.25% to 1,935.53 points on Friday after rising 0.38% on Thursday.
The narrower of the ZSE’s two blue-chip indices, the CROBEX10, which tracks the leading companies in terms of free float, market capitalisation and liquidity, lost 0.18% to 1,194.07 points on Friday, after rising 0.40% on Thursday.
