DKNG Stock – Spurs vs. Nuggets prediction: Best bets, pick against the spread, player prop on Wednesday, April 7

The struggling San Antonio Spurs (24-24) will head to Ball Arena to take on the Denver Nuggets (32-18) on Wednesday Night. The Spurs have logged an abysmal 2-8 through their last 10 games while riding a three-game losing streak at the moment. Denver, in a diametrically opposite situation, have gone 8-2 in their last 10 and won their last six in a row. They surged ahead of the Los Angeles Lakers recently to claim fourth place in the Western Conference, and now sit just one game behind the third-place Clippers.

It’s no surprise here that the Nuggets are heavily favored to win, but they should easily cover the spread against the Spurs as well. Denver has won each of their last five games by at least seven points (101-94 against the Clippers), while taking down the Hawks by an impressive 24 points at the end of March. Since Aaron Gordon made the move to Denver, he’s averaged 13.2 points through the five games he’s played with them, which includes an impressive 24-point performance against his old team when they beat the Orlando Magic 119-109. Jamal Murray missed their last game against the Pistons and is listed as questionable for tonight, but even without him, the Nuggets have Nikola Jokic and Michael Porter Jr. to pick up the slack and take care of business. Denver should win this game easily.

Player Prop: Nikola Jokic O10.5 rebounds (-125)

Jokic has averaged 10.9 rebounds per game all season long, and while he’s failed to hit double digits through the three games in April so far, he only grabbed less than 10 boards in two of his 14 games played in March, while maxing out at 15 twice. Combining that with how poor the Spurs have been playing, and he’s set for a big night.
