Sony’s PlayStation 5 remains one of the top games consoles available right now and many would be players are still having trouble finding one for themselves. Major retailers like Target, Amazon and Best Buy have frequently seen stock sell out very quickly, leading to frustrated would-be gamers.
There were restocks at GameStop and Newegg earlier this week but they sold out rapidly. Best Buy restocked supplies of the PS5 every Friday throughout February and March but this pattern came to an abrupt end on April 2. Gamers will be hoping next Friday will bring good news.
Amazon PS5 Restock
Amazon had no supply of the PlayStation 5 on Saturday morning. Visitors to the online retail giant were left with the simple message: “We don’t know when or if this item will be back in stock.”

Best Buy had previously had availability of PS5s every Friday for the past six weeks. But gamers have been out of luck since April 2.

Both versions of the PlayStation were still sold out at Target on Saturday morning. Rumors of a Thursday restock proved to be illusory this week and there is as yet no indication of when the retailer may have the console.
Those hoping to buy a PS5 from Target will have to order online and collect their console through pick-up or drive-up collection. Supplies are also limited to one per person when in stock.
