The Dow Jones Industrial Average is down Tuesday afternoon with shares of IBM and Nike seeing the biggest declines for the index. The Dow
was most recently trading 187 points lower (-0.5%), as shares of IBM
are contributing to the blue-chip gauge’s intraday decline. IBM‘s shares have declined $4.04 (3.0%) while those of Nike have fallen $3.10, or 2.3%, combining for a roughly 47-point drag on the Dow. Also contributing significantly to the decline are Johnson & Johnson
and Dow Inc.
A $1 move in any one of the 30 components of the index equates to a 6.58-point swing.
